Using the studio and this website
By booking a class or buying a pass from Saminaro, you agree to these terms. They cover the studio at 242 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 and the Saminaro website.
You need to be at least sixteen to book on your own. Anyone under sixteen is welcome in a class if a parent or guardian signs the health form and stays for the session.
Bookings and payments
- Class bookings are confirmed once payment clears. We will email you a confirmation
- Payment is taken by card through our booking platform at the time of booking
- Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST
- We may change prices, but never on a pass you have already bought
- Concession rates apply to full-time students and healthcare card holders. We may ask to see the card
Passes and validity
Casual bookings are valid for the class you booked them for. Ten-class and multi-class passes last twelve months from the purchase date. Unlimited memberships run month to month and can be cancelled with fourteen days notice.
Multi-class and unlimited passes can be frozen once per year for up to eight weeks for travel, illness or injury. Email us the dates and we will apply the freeze before it starts.
Passes are not transferable to another person unless we say otherwise in writing.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancel a class at least two hours before the start time and it goes back onto your pass with no penalty. Cancel inside two hours, or fail to show up, and the session is deducted.
Workshops and retreats need seven days notice to receive a refund or studio credit. Inside seven days we can offer a credit if we manage to fill your spot.
If a class is cancelled by us, you get a full refund or a pass credit, whichever you prefer.
Health, safety and conduct
Yoga involves physical movement and carries some risk of injury. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for telling teachers about injuries, pregnancy, medical conditions or medication that might affect your practice.
Arrive on time. Latecomers may be turned away if the class has already warmed up, both for their safety and out of respect for the room. Phones stay out of the practice space.
We can ask anyone to leave if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or unkind to others. In that case no refund is given.
Liability and complaints
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond that, Saminaro's liability for any loss is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
Cars, bikes, mats and personal items are left at the studio at your own risk.
